Dave West
Coach West is from Hawthorne, NV. He played basketball and baseball in high school. He was able to help lead his team to the State Championship game his Senior year in basketball and was the Co-MVP in baseball. After high school, Coach West attended Southern Utah University and had a lot of opportunities to help out with athletics there. He worked with the women’s basketball team on their scout team and on the men’s side as a team manager. Coach West graduated from Southern Utah with a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education and Human Performance, with a minor in Coaching. After graduation, Coach West taught Physical Education and Health at the high school level. He was able to coach in various positions, which included coaching Sophomore boys basketball, JV girls basketball, and he was able to start and develop the high school baseball team. During the time Coach West spent coaching, he realized that he had some very good student-athletes that he felt could play at the next level. He decided to start focusing on why these kids weren’t getting recruited and how he could help them get exposure and connect with college coaches. That's when Coach West Recruiting started.

Brandon West
Brandon was born and raised in Hawthorne, NV. There he attended Mineral County High School. As a student-athlete, he lettered in 3 Varsity sports; Football, Basketball and Baseball. To conclude the basketball season his senior year, he was able to help his team win a state championship, ending a 53 year drought. To continue his education, he attended Southern Utah University, studying exercise science. There, he worked with the SUU football team as a volunteer throughout spring training. After SUU, Brandon was able to utilize recruiter Coach West to attend Dakota Wesleyan University, taking the opportunity to play football. Now, he’s teaming up with Coach West to help recruit, focusing on scouting young talent to help them make it to the next level.
Highlight Specialist
Chad Kleidosty
California Grown and Nevada Raised, Chad has been able to experience first hand the many different competitive sides Nevada athletics has to offer in all football, basketball, and baseball. Chad proudly shares the Co-MVP title with Coach Dave West while playing baseball for Mineral County High in Hawthorne, Nevada and finished his Senior year in High School playing baseball for Spanish Springs in Sparks, Nevada. He received his A.A. in Business from Truckee Meadows Community College and B.S. in Agricultural Science with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno. Much like his attendance in an array of different schools growing up, Chad has a growing list of professions he has accomplished in aviation, agriculture, and 911 telecommunications. Chad is a Private and FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot where he runs his business in Aerial Photography for real estate, sport highlights, weddings, events, and agricultural inspections called, Dash Two Drone Solutions. When time permits you can find him in the air flying around the Sierra Nevada’s with his wife and son and looks forward to talking with kids who may also have questions about seeking an abnormal career path while playing their favorite past-time in college.

"During my son’s junior year we were trying to navigate the complex waters of the college recruiting process. We were given Coach West’s contact information from a friend and we quickly scheduled a call. During that call, Coach West took the time to talk to my son and understand what he wanted to achieve both academically and on the field and also where he had interest in playing. He also described the recruiting process, his approach, and what we should expect for the next few months. After the call, he created a video with my son’s highlights and started to contact college coaches. Shortly after that, my son started to receive phone calls, text messages and DM’s from college coaches all across the country. In fact, there were some weeks where my son was talking to multiple college coaches every night of the week. Coach West helped him with those communications and to understand the offers that he was receiving. After several months, dozens of calls with college coaches, and many offers, my son decided to commit to USU Eastern."
